29 CFR 1910.134(e)(1): The employer did not provide a medical evaluation to determine the employee's ability to use a respirator, before the employee was fit tested or required to use the respirator in the workplace: On or about July 24, 2023, in the main shop area, employees performing welding and painting operations were provided for voluntary use LPR-100 Half Mask Respirators while welding and using chemicals such as but not limited to acetone, xylene, and n-butyl acetate, were not provided with a medical evaluation.
