29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: (a) On or about July 24, 2023, employees using various chemicals chemical products such as but not limited to Klean-Strip Acetone and Raptor 1K Truck Bed Coating Black aerosol containing acetone, xylene, and n-butyl acetate were not trained by the employer on the hazardous chemicals. (b) On or about July 24, 2023, employees performing welding and buffing on materials such aluminum and steel were not trained by the employer on the hazardous chemicals.
