29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i): The employer did not ensure that each employee on a walking-working surface with an unprotected side or edge that is 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level was protected from falling: On or about January 11, 2023, and thereafter, employees engaged in sawmill activities at the worksite located at 33643 MO-6 Brashear, Missouri 63533 were exposed to fall hazards in that employees working in sections of the sawmill were required to walk and work on surfaces greater than four (4) feet above a lower surface without adequate means of fall protection. Instances include but are not limited to: Instance 1. Employees conducting off-bearer and chop saw activities next to the industrial vibrator/shaker. Instance 2. Employees conducting Grade mill activities between the band sawmill and the edger.
