29 CFR 1904.39(a)(2):The employer did not report within 24-hours a work-related incident resulting in in-patient hospitalization, amputation or the loss of an eye. On October 24, 2022, an employee who was found prone and unconscious on the floor of the deli area was hospitalized and later passed away while in the hospital. The hospitalization and death were not reported to the nearest OSHA office.
