29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1): All places of employment, passageways, storerooms, and service rooms are not kept clean and orderly and in a sanitary condition. a) The employer fails to ensure effective measures to prevent slip, trip and struck-by hazards, as demonstrated on or about May 19, 2022, in the main storage room/receiving room and aisles in the main storeroom, when the receiving/storage room was not kept clean, sanitary, and orderly, preventing employees from moving product in and out of the receiving/storage room onto the sales floor and from delivery trucks. To abate this violation, the employer must ensure that the receiving/storage room is clean and organized.
