29 CFR 1910.132(a):Protective equipment was not used when necessary, whenever hazards capable of causing injury and impairment were encountered: a. NOX US, LLC - Fostoria, Ohio: The employer does not ensure employees are provided with and wear personal protective equipment to protect against burn injuries to the arms. This violation was most recently observed on or about May 4, 2022, employees in the C-1 area who handle scrap plastic; and operate and clean the mix mills, calender, and take-off rolls, were exposed to severe thermal burns.
