29 CFR 1926.1427(a):General requirements for operators. The employer did not ensure that each operator is trained, certified/ licensed, and evaluated in accordance with this section before operating any equipment covered under subpart CC, except for the equipment listed in paragraph (a)(2) of this section. On the bridge at the construction site, located at State Road 60 and US 27, Lake Wales, FL: On or about 04/25/2022 and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to struck by hazards, in that the crane operator on site was not certified to operate the cranes on site.
