29 CFR 1910.303(b)(1):Examination. Electric equipment shall be free from recognized hazards that are likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees. Safety of equipment shall be determined using the following considerations: 29 CFR 1910.303(b)(1)(iv): Electrical insulation; a. On or about February 8, 2022 and times prior, located in the battery change out station the electrical flexible cable used to connect the 24 volt battery pack to the powered industrial equipment had damaged insulation at the connection points. The damaged flexible cable was subject to repeated displacement from regular operator use, thereby exposing employees to an electrical hazards.
