29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: a) Imperial Marble & Granite, Inc. located at 10 Industrial Hwy Building H Lester, PA: On or about January 14, 2022, the employer did not provide hazardous chemical training for employees engaged in cutting and polishing on natural stone and quartz. Employees are exposed to chemicals, including but not limited to the following: -Vinyl ester resin, ethylbenzene, styrene, etc. contained in Superior V-Max SV9 -Limestone, petroleum distillates, glycol ethers, etc. contained in Alex Plus Acrylic Latex Caulk Plus Silicone -Ethyltriacetoxysilane, methylacetoxysilane titanium oxide, etc. contained in Chem-Set RTV 4500 Silicone -Acetone -Graisse EP Black Pearl -Crystalline silica contained in the natural stone and quartz slabs
