29 CFR 1910.138(a): The employer did not select and require employee(s) to use appropriate hand protection when employees' hands were exposed to hazards such as those from skin absorption of harmful substances; severe cuts or lacerations; severe abrasion; punctures; chemical burns; thermal burns; and harmful temperature extremes: a) Lawler Terrace Corporation DBA Lawler Direct located at 10300 Drummond Road, Philadelphia, PA 19154: On or about September 15, 2021, the employer did not provide chemical resistant gloves which were appropriate for use to protect an employee from corrosive chemicals while servicing forklift batteries, exposing the employee to chemical burns.
