29 CFR 1910.303(b)(2):Listed or labeled electrical equipment was not used or installed in accordance with instructions included in the listing or labeling: (a) A and A Quality Appliance, Inc. at 321 W 84th Ave., Thornton, CO 80260: On and around February 22, the employer did not ensure that three metal, electrical outlet boxes were used in accordance with listed instructions, in that the outlet boxes on the flexible cords included pre-punched knockouts that could be dislodged by frequent handling or being struck-by objects in the Showroom. This condition exposed employees to electrical hazards while connecting and disconnecting appliances at the outlet boxes. (b) A and A Quality Appliance, Inc. at 321 W 84th Ave., Thornton, CO 80260: On and around February 22, the employer did not ensure that a metal electrical outlet box was used in accordance with listed instructions, in that the outlet box that was fastened to a wall included pre-punched knockouts that could be dislodged by frequent handling or being struck-by objects in the Showroom. This condition exposed employees to electrical hazards while connecting and disconnecting electric-powered equipment at the outlet box.
