29 CFR 1926.502(f)(1)(ii): 29 CFR 1926.502(f)(1)(ii): When mechanical equipment was being used, the warning line was not erected at least 6 feet (1.8 m) from the roof edge which is parallel to the direction of mechanical equipment operation, and at least 10 feet (3.1 m) from the roof edge which is perpendicular to the direction of mechanical equipment operation. a) Worksite, 5005 Veterans Memorial Highway, Holbrook, NY: Employees were installing roofing material on a flat commercial roof while using a warning line system set up approximately 3ft from the edge of the roof; on or about 1/18/2021. Note: In addition to abatement certification, the employer is required to submit abatement documentation for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.
