29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation: a) On or about July 16, 2020, and at times prior, the employer, DBS, Inc. dba Colorado Structural Repair did not provide eye protection when employees were required to use Mel-Prime for residential basement waterproofing operations which is a hazardous chemical. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").
