29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(13): The top or top step of a stepladder was used as a step: A.) Larry Bittner dba Bittner Roofing, 3603 Peach Street, Erie, PA 16508, on or about June 17, 2020 and times prior thereto: Employees were utilizing a folding ladder to access a plank of a ladder jack scaffold system. Employees were utilizing the top step and top cap of the folding ladder to access the ladder jack scaffold plank. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below). This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
