29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section: a) Velocity Rail Solutions on August 11, 2019, at the address of 1700 Deshler Rd., North Baltimore, OH: The employer did not develop machine specific energy control procedures to control stored pneumatic energy prior to employees' performance of service work on the pressurized sand tank on truck SQ421. Employees performing service activities in this condition were exposed to struck-by hazards when removing the sanding pod lid while still under pneumatic pressure.
