29 CFR 1910.1048(c)(2): Employees were exposed to an airborne concentration of formaldehyde which exceeded two parts per million as a 15-minute short term exposure limit (STEL): a) Glue Mixing Area: On or about May 9, 2018 and at times prior to, an employee was exposed to Formaldehyde vapors at a 15 minute calculated Short Term Exposure Limit (STEL) of 4.7205 parts per million (ppm) which is 2.36 times the OSHA STEL of 2.00 parts per million of air while conducting glue mixing job tasks. Results were calculated for a 12 minute sampling period with the remaining time of 3 minutes at a zero concentration.
