29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: (a) Employees were not trained on hazardous chemicals used in the facility, the Globally Harmonized System of Chemical Classification (GHS), and the requirements of a Hazard Communication program. Employees use chemicals daily to clean and disinfect, such as but not limited to Delta Foremost's Super Kleen, Delta Foremost's Grill Brite, and Sysco Germicidal Ultra Bleach. These cleaning and sanitizing chemicals expose employee eyes and skin to irritation and chemical burns.
