29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: On or about August 25, 2016, and at time prior thereto, at this plastic manufacturing plant, employees engaged and operating in spray booth, cleaning the plastic products, loading coating agents into supply systems and working with and around hazardous chemicals such as, but not limited to, oxidizer (compressed Oxygen), compressed gases such as Acetylene and Argon, Acetone, Corrosive Adhesives, Organic-Based Paints, Thinners, Spirits, Solvents, Clear Coats, Primers and Alcohols. The employer had not provided an information and training to his employees on the hazards associated with chemicals used at this site.
