Text For Citation: 03 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i)(A): Authorized employee(s) did not receive training in the recognition of applicable hazardous energy sources, the type and magnitude of the energy available in the workplace, and the methods and means necessary for energy isolate (a) Rolling Mill Line #1; On or about March 9, 2016 and at times prior thereto, the employer exposed employees to potential hazardous energies in that employees were allowed to work on the Rolling Mill and the employer had not trained the authorized employees in the machine specific procedures for this machine. The employer had not trained the employees on all the energy sources the magnitude of the energy sources and the type of energy. The Golden Dragon Copper was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 981568, citation number1, item number 4(b) and was affirmed as a final order on January 6, 2015, with respect to workplace located at Pine Hill Alabama.
