29 CFR 1910.179(m)(1): Thorough monthly inspections of rope conditions, with written, dated and signed reports, were not performed on the running ropes. On or about 13 January 2016 and at times prior thereto, employees were utilizing approximately 17 overhead cranes throughout the facility without written, dated and signed reports of monthly inspections of running ropes, exposing the employees to the hazard of being struck by falling objects.
