OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to being struck by a powered industrial vehicle: (a) Richard I. Bong Memorial Bridge project; On or about September 21, 2015, an employee operating a rough terrain powered industrial vehicle did not keep a clear view of the path of travel, did not travel with the load raised only as far necessary to clear the road surface, was not operating at a safe speed that would allow the truck to stop in a safe manner and approached employees that were standing in front of a fixed object.
