29 CFR 1926.451(f)(3): Scaffolds and scaffold components were not inspected for visible defects by a competent person before each work shift, and after any occurrence which could affect a scaffold's structural integrity: a) West Weaver Covered Bridge / Conococheague Creek area; Employees were working on steel tubular scaffolding while installing stabilizers and x bracing on the wooden covered bridge without the competent person having performed a structural integrity inspection of the scaffolding before each work shift, on or about 07/16/2015. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
