29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a. Employees of P. Claudio Construction performing framing work at elevations of 6 feet or more above ground are not protected from fall hazards by the use of a personal fall arrest system. The employer fails to assure effective protection against falls as required by the standard, as demonstrated on October 14, 2016, when 3 employees doing roof sheathing and framing work on a residential home at 1661 Atlantic Beach Dr., Atlantic Beach, Florida 32233 without fall protection were exposed to a fall hazard of 20 and 10 feet from the leading edge of the building.
