29 CFR 1910.305(b)(1)(ii): Unused openings in cabinets, boxes, and fittings were not effectively closed. a.) On or about September 5, 2024, and at times prior thereto, on the third floor of the batch house, a 240v disconnect electrical panel for a mixer motor had an unused opening that was not effectively closed. b.) On or about February 10, 2025, and at times prior thereto, on the third floor of the batch house, a light switch had an unused opening that was not effectively closed. c.) On or about September 5, 2024, and at times prior thereto, on the fifth floor of the batch house, a 110v disconnect electrical panel to the dust collector had unused openings that were not effectively closed. O-I Glass, Inc. dba Owens-Illinois, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1910.305(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1562058 citation number 2, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on December 27, 2021, with respect to a workplace hazard at 5200 Beverly Drive, Waco, TX 76707.
