29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles. (a) On May 24, 2024, at 1104 Fifth Avenue NE in Mandan, North Dakota, five employees engaged in roofing operations were using nail guns to secure shingles to a roof without the use of eye protection against flying debris and/or projectile hazards. .
