29 CFR 1910.1026(i)(4)(i): Whenever employees were allowed to consume food or beverages at a worksite where chromium (VI) was present, the employer did not ensure that the eating and drinking areas and surfaces were maintained as free as practicable of chromium (VI): a) On or about January 16, 2019 Faurecia Emissions Control System NA, LLC did not maintain eating and drinking areas in the break room as free as practicable from the presents of chromium in that employees were permitted to bring PPE (Kevlar sleeves) used on the production line into the break area and wipe sampling showed positive detection for the present of chromium (VI) on the market c station, chair surface and the counter in front microwave.
