29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii): Point of operation guards were not designed and constructed as to prevent the operator from having any part of their body in the danger zone during the operating cycle: (a) In the Back Room, in the production facility at 50 Oxford Ave., Dudley, MA 01571, on 6/7/2016 and at times earlier the crimping machine/station on lines 2, 3, 4, and 5 did not have point of operation guarding where the crimper makes contact with the top of the can. Shield Packing, Inc. was previously cited for a repeated violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1910.212(a)(3)(ii)), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 911837, citation number 2, item number 4 and was affirmed as a final order on 12/11/2013, with respect to a workplace located at 50 Oxford Ave., Dudley, MA 01571.
