29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(ii):Flexible cords were not used only in continuous lengths without splice or tap: a)Blasting Booth Area: On or about 4/18/2022, extension cords used for in the blasting area for equipment including, but not limited to, grinders and light that had been damaged from blasting activities were spliced or repaired and put back into use. b) Blasting Booth Area: On or about 4/18/2022, extension cords were observed to be split and spliced into the RadioShack 3 amp Regulated Power Supply used to power the blasting hose deadman switch and the blasting hose lights. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
