29 CFR 1910.243(c)(3):Abrasive wheels used on vertical portable grinder(s) (right angle head grinders) were not provided with safety guard(s) having a maximum exposure angle of 180 degrees and located between the operator and wheel: a) Blasting Booth Area: On or about 4/18/2022, safety guards were not affixed to a DeWalt Angle Grinder Model DWE402. b) Blasting Booth Area: On or about 4/18/2022, safety guards were not affixed to a Makita Angle Grinder Model GA7021. c)Blasting Booth Area: On or about 4/18/2022, safety guards were not affixed to a Bauer Heavy Duty Angle Grinder Model 1865E-B, Serial 374642137. d) Blasting Booth Area: On or about 4/18/2022, safety guards were not affixed to a Bauer Heavy Duty Angle Grinder Model 1865E-B. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM.
