Text For Citation: 03 Item/Group: 009A Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): Employer had not developed or implemented a written hazard communication program which at included the requirements outlined in 29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1)(i) and (e)(1)(ii): a) On or about May 19, 2011 and at times prior, the employer failed to develop and implement a hazard communication program in order to minimize hazardous chemical exposures for employees who used a variety of fuels, degreasers, cleaners, solvents, lubricants and paints on a daily basis. Springs Transmission and Automotive, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of the Occupational Safety and Health Standard, or its equivalent 29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection 313718355 Citation 1 item 13a, issued on April 5, 2010 and became a final order on April 29, 2010 with respect to a worksite located at 3310 Chelton Loop North, Colorado Springs, CO 80909.
