29 CFR 1910.334(a)(2)(ii): When there was a defect or evidence of damage that could expose an employee to injury, the defective or damaged item was not removed from service so no employee could use it until the repairs and tests necessary to render the electric equipment safe had been made: a) On or about May 19, 2011 and at times prior, employees were exposed to electrical hazards while using extension cords with damaged outer jackets. Springs Transmission and Automotive, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of the Occupational Safety and Health Standard, or its equivalent 29 CFR 1910.303(b)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection 313718355 Citation 1 item 9a, issued on April 5, 2010 and became a final order on April 29, 2010 with respect to a worksite located at 3310 Chelton Loop North, Colorado Springs, CO 80909.
