29 CFR 1910.265(e)(5)(ii)(c): Pressure feed rolls on edger(s) were not guarded against accidental contact: (a) Sawmill: On or about March 9, 2016 and times prior, the pressure feed rolls on the back of the HE 276 Edminstons Edger did not have adequate protection to prevent contact, as the guard was not attached on one side and damaged in the middle leaving gaps of up to 13 inches directly in the area where wood is received by the stacker. Wayne Lumber and Mulch, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, Sawmills Edger Guards, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 961178, citation number 1, item number 14b and was affirmed as a final order on September 25, 2014, with respect to a workplace located in Wayne, WV.
