29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i): The employer did not conduct a periodic inspection of the energy control procedure at least annually to ensure that the procedure and the requirement of this standard were being followed: a) On or about 04/15/2024 at the site located at 3000 Milton Ave, Solvay, NY 13209: The employer had not conducted a periodic or more frequent inspection of their energy control procedures to ensure that the procedures and the requirements of this standard were being followed. Equipment energy control procedures requiring inspection include but are not limited to: Venetta Transfer Cart, Power Supply Capacitor Banks, Furnace Hydraulic Pumps, Venetta Scrap Heater, DISA #1, DISA #2, Med. Frequency Furnace (#1, #2, and #3), SpeedMullor 100B, Incline Belt Conv. Main Aerator, Incline Belt Magnetic Separator, Core Sand Transport System, and the Prepared Sand Belt. Frazer and Jones was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1401131, citation number 1, item number 10 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/14/2021, with respect to a workplace located at 3000 Milton Ave Solvay, NY.
