29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(iii): Flexible cords and cables were not connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief was provided that would prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws: a/ At the Secondary Processing Area, the outer insulation belonging to a flexible cord attached to a pendant control for an unmarked, overhead crane was severely damaged. One of two strain relief cables stemming from the pendant control to the flexible cord was snapped. Strain relief was broken. St. Louis Cold Drawn Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1910.219(e)(3)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 908320, citation 1, item 14, and was affirmed as a final order on 09/10/14, with respect to a workplace located at 1060 Pershall Road, St. Louis, Missouri 63137.
