29 CFR 1910.303(b)(2): Listed or labeled electrical equipment was not used or installed in accordance with instructions included in the listing or labeling. The employer does not ensure listed or labeled electrical equipment is used or installed in accordance with instructions included in the listing or labeling. This violation was most recently observed on or about October 18, 2017 at a worksite at 19 Bailey Street, Plains Township, PA (Maintenance area - Storage room) when employees did not install or use a power strip (relocatable power tap) in accordance with its listing, as well as on two prior occasions as described below. To abate this violation, the employer must ensure that each employee using electrical equipment in accordance with the instructions included in the listing or labeling. Midvale Paper Box Company was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.303(b)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1066679, citation number 3, item number 5 and was affirmed as a final order on June 17, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at 19 Bailey Street, Plains Township, PA. Midvale Paper Box Company was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.303(b)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 994212, citation number 1, item number 6a and was affirmed as a final order on June 17, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at 19 Bailey Street, Plains Township, PA.
