29 CFR 1910.217(e)(1)(i): A program of periodic and regular inspections of mechanical power press(es) was not established and followed to ensure that all parts, auxiliary equipment and safeguards were in a safe operating condition and adjustment: a. Napoleon Spring Works, Inc. - Archbold, Ohio: On or about October 26, 2016, the employer did not ensure that periodic and regular inspections, which would identify deficiencies in the unsafe operation of the Chicago press (model 1416R; s/n L20002), were performed and documented. Napoleon Spring Works, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1910.217(e)(1)(i) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 905594, citation number 1, item number 11, and was affirmed as a final order on November 7, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at 111 Weires Dr. Archbold, Ohio 43502.
