29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(13): The top or top step of a stepladder was used as a step: a) On April 16, 2021, an employee was standing on the top step of a stepladder in order to access and egress the floor deck. Emerald Inc., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1476144, citation number 1, item number 2 c and was affirmed as a final order on January 15, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 751 Meacham Rd. Elk Grove Village, IL 60007. No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.
