29 CFR 1910.242(b): Compressed air used for cleaning purposes was not reduced to less than 30 p.s.i: a) Planer Mill; On or about May 31, 2017 and at times prior thereto, employees were exposed to hazards associated with compressed air use in that the employer permitted employees to use compressed air not reduced to less than 30 psi to clean equipment and/or to clean themselves. b) Sawmill; On or about May 31, 2017 and at times prior thereto, employees were exposed to hazards associated with compressed air use in that the employer permitted employees to use compressed air not reduced to less than 30 psi to clean equipment and/or to clean themselves. Dudley Lumber company, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard CFR 1910.242(b), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 930842, citation number 1, item number 5 and was affirmed as a final order on March 5, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 8575 Hwy 280 East, Salem, AL 36874.
