29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure: a) Plant, Airlay #3 - On or about 07/29/13 the flexible cable carrying power from the regrinder switch box to the air blower switch box was left unprotected and was not mounted inside a conduit. Employees were exposed to potential loss of insulation and contact with live parts. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET.
