29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(10): The employer did not ensure that workplace labels or other forms of warnings were prominently displayed on the container or readily available in the work area throughout each work shift. U.S Postal Service: On and/or before May 30, 2023, employee(s) used bleach and Germicidal Detergent to clean the restroom and various parts of the Post Office. The employer did not ensure a secondary label containing health and safety warnings were affixed to the bottle for the employee to use. Employees were exposed to eye redness, blurred vision, and/or abrasion to the cornea. The U.S. Postal Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1910.1200(f)(10)), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1581717, citation number 1, item number 4a and was affirmed as a final order on 05-27-2022, with respect to a workplace located at 24760 South Main Street Carson, CA 90745.
