Text For Citation: 03 Item/Group: 004 Hazard:
29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1):The employer shall provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards. The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards. The employer continues to fail to ensure employees are trained to recognize the hazards of falling and trained in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards. The most recent incident of such failure occurred on or about May 5, 2022, located at 361 Kells Court West, Lot 13557, Newark, Ohio 43055: the employer failed to provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards. An employee, without any training on fall hazards, conducted work on the roof of a new build residential home. The employee was exposed to a fall distance of 20 feet to the ground level. Mr. �ngel P�rez, was previously cited for a repeat violation for this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1568670, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as final order on April 28, 2022, with respect to a workplace locate at Lot 231 Granville, OH 43023
