29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: Central Transport, LLC - On March 28, 2014, employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, and suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use. a) At the Southeast Battery Charging Station - The eyewash station was not accessible due to storage of truck tires and the water level was low and did not provide adequate flow. b) At the Northwest Battery Charging Station - The eyewash station was blocked by equipment and pallets containing freight, and the water level was low and did not provide adequate flow. Central Transport, LLC, was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.151(c), which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 77120, Citation Number 2, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on July 30, 2012, with respect to a workplace located at 200 North Mannheim, Hillside, IL.
