29 CFR 1910.132(d)(2): The employer did not verify, through a written certification, that the required workplace hazard assessment had been performed: a) 156 West Harrisburg Avenue, Elizabethtown, PA 17022: On or about February 28, 2024, an employee performed repair tasks to the ammonia refrigeration system due to a leak and used personal protective equipment (PPE), including, but not limited to, gloves. The employer did not prepare a written workplace PPE hazard assessment that outlined the hazards present which necessitated the use of the PPE. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
