29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(6)(i): Except as provided in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(7) and 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(8), the employer did not ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace was labeled, tagged or marked with the information required by 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(1)(i) through 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(1)(v): a) On or about 7/20/2023, the employer did not update labels on the caustic wash tanks when they changed from FleetClean 2A and 2B to Hibrett Puratex Kettle and Hibrett Puratex Tiger. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19. Dana Transport was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(6), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1643932, citation number 1, item number 2a and was affirmed as a final order on 4/3/2023, with respect to a workplace located at 41 Main St, Oxford, MA 01540.
