29 CFR 1910.215(b)(9): The distance between the abrasive wheel periphery(s) and the adjustable tongue or the end of the safety guard peripheral member at the top exceeded one fourth inch: a) Building interior Mechanic Shop: An employee was using a grinding machine where the adjustable tongue or the end of the safety guard member at the top exceeded one fourth of an inch from the abrasive wheel, on or about 5/18/22 The Garfield Lumber & Millworks Inc was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.215(b)(9) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1374899 citation number 1, item number 10(b) and was affirmed as a final order on 7/10/19, with respect to a workplace located at 260 Lanza Ave Garfield, NJ 07026.
