29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation. a. Located at 1799 Woodland Drive, Delaware, Ohio: On or about December 15, 2021, and at times prior, the employer did not ensure that employees utilized eye protection while utilizing pneumatic nail guns to install roofing shingles, thereby exposing employees to struck-by hazards. A & H Roofing Services, LLC was previously cited for a Repeat-Serious violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard, 29 CFR 102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1520996, citation number 1, item number 3, and was affirmed as a final order on June 14, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 467 Landings Loop, Westerville, Ohio 43082. A & H Roofing Services, LLC was previously cited for a Serious violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard, 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1), while performing work under the owner's name, Abel Hernandez, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1458624, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on March 31, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 6575 Greenway Loop, Dublin, OH 43016.
