29 CFR 1926.502(d)(15): Anchorages used for attachment of personal fall arrest equipment shall be independent of any anchorage being used to support or suspend platforms and capable of supporting at least 5,000 pounds (22.2 kN) per employee attached. a) Miguel Dominguez, at a jobsite located at Lot RVO425, 544 Randall Road, Delaware, Ohio 43015: On and/or preceding October 20, 2020, the employer did not ensure employees used anchorages capable of supporting 5000 pounds while engaged in residential construction activities. An employee was roofing with a rope tied directly around the top of the trusses at the truss nail plate, thereby exposed to fall hazards of up to 20 feet. Miguel Dominguez was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1481682, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on September 10, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 768 Wharncliff, Lot WEL138, Pickerington, Ohio 43062.
