29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i): The employer did not provide adequate training to ensure that employees acquired the knowledge and skills required for the safe application, usage and removal of energy control devices: Napoleon Spring Works, Inc. - Archbold, Ohio: On or about October 26, 2016, the employer did not ensure employees who setup and/or maintain the equipment such as, but not limited to, mechanical power presses were adequately trained in the skills required for the safe application, usage, and removal of energy controls. Employees that set-up the presses were not trained to isolate and render energy sources safe. Napoleon Spring Works, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 905594, citation number 1, item number 5 and was affirmed as a final order on November 7, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at 111 Weires Dr. Archbold, Ohio 43502.
