29 CFR 1926.452(k)(1): Platforms exceeded a height of 20 feet (6.1 m): Location: 45 Highland Ave Lowell MA On or about October 5, 2016, the employer did not ensure that ladder jack scaffold platforms were lower than 20 feet. Luis Quindi dba Speedy Gonsales was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 1926.452(k)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1078346, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on November 30, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 4 Weetamo Way Westford, MA. This violation was most recently observed on October 5, 2016 at a jobsite located at 45 Highland Ave, Lowell, MA 01851 where employees were exposed to fall hazards greater than 22 feet 8 inches. To abate this violation, the employer must ensure that ladder jack scaffolds do not exceed the height of 20 feet.
