29 CFR 1910.304(g)(5): Grounding path. The path to ground from circuits, equipment, and enclosures shall be permanent, continuous, and effective. Instance 1 - On or about February 3, 2015, Shop 1, employees were allowed to operate a Dayton 16"drill press, model SZ1463, that was missing the ground pin. Instance 2 - On or about February 3, 2015, Shop 1, employees were allowed to operate a Central Machinery 8" bench grinder, item no. 37823, that was missing the ground pin. Instance 3 - On or about February 3, 2015, Paint Shop, an extension cord used to power a radio, was missing the ground pin.
